What is a Chapter?

A Youth in Bloom Collective Chapter is a student-led group that runs environmental projects and education programs in their school or community. As a Regional Leader, chapter founders organize and execute projects that support our mission with the guidance of our executive team. Additionally, all Regional Leaders and members of the chapter can participate in YIBC-wide projects, such as teaching students about the environment online, in addition to projects specific to one’s region. Chapter leaders gain access to comprehensive project guides, email templates, and slides; letters of recommendation from Rory, the founder; potential to grow into leadership roles at YIBC; and the freedom to organize their own creative eco-projects!

Education

Our education programs aim to raise awareness about climate change and inspire the next generation of environmental leaders. Through meetings, fundraising, and field trips, we equip youth with the knowledge and skills to make a difference.

Curriculum

Chapter leaders receive guidence and a clear path to take to improving their community through YIBC's curriculum. It features a variety of hands on eco-activities designed to educate the classrooms they visit and workshops they lead.

Community Engagement

We collaborate with elementary schools, engage in civic advocacy, organize clothing drives, and create environmental games and crafts for kids and adults alike.
